Faith Like A Mustard Seed

Many thousands of years ago, the Israelites were actually slaves to the Egyptians. When Moses and the Israelites finally left Egypt thousands of years ago on their infamous trek to their homeland they encountered many difficulties. The enormous Red Sea was on of these and became most famous for this story, the parting of the red sea. God told Moses in Exodus 14-15 that he was to lead the children of Israel to their homeland and that he, God, would take care of them. God warned Moses that there would be many trials and tribulations.

Four dimensions of Christ’s return found in 2 Timothy are, the judgment, the resurrection, the appearing of Christ, and the eternal kingdom. “I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.”

The Coming of the Lord was Imminent

In Luke 6:45 it says, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

That’s why I believe that if a person really wants to change the world for the better, the change starts in the heart.

Time parameters in the beginning and end of Revelation support the nearness of the event to those living in the first century. John wrote that the time had drawn near for the message of Revelation to shortly come to pass, (Rev. 1:1-3). This included the message of Armageddon.

It isn’t easy finding peace these days. The very things that were meant to help us free up our time like cell phones, washers, and other modern conveniences actually sometimes cause more stress.
