Keira Knightley has refused to have her breasts enhanced in publicity photos for her upcoming movie "The Duchess." Obviously in this day and age, the guys in charge wanted the slender actress to appear more curvaceous, but "she has insisted that her figure stay in its natural state. She is proud of her body and doesn’t want it altered." Good for you Keira! Keira Knightley is best known for her role in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, which have been extremely popular even though it was a bit unexpected by the cast, and apparently her breasts were digitally enlarged to a C-cup in publicity photos for her 2004 film "King Arthur." Even if that is the case, it looks like it will not be happening this time. Would she like to have a bigger chest? Well, apparently she admitted that she would back in 2004, and she also said, "I would love to have Monica Bellucci's figure. But I'm never going to get it. I'm naturally who I am. Surgery is far too frightening. I couldn't." Breasts have been an idol of sorts, in the American culture at least, and it's good to see someone taking a stand. If only there were more people who were willing to be themselves in such a tough situation. Keira is probably a role model to a lot of young people, and it's great to see her being the person she was made to be, instead of the person whom other people think she should be. Hats off to Keira, as she is not controlled by insecurity, and public pressure.
