From a design point of view the titleist pro v1 ball is a 3 layer composite constructed ball. It is worth noting that a number of patents have been taken out on the technology used to achieve this design.

You are joining an exclusive club with the titleist Pro v1 golf ball. You will not see too many other manufacturers with the capability to produce such an offering. Supplly and demand dictate the prices for any products and the Pro v1 is no exception.

Sure it has 392 dimples disparately placed around the titleist pro v1 ball with a new staggered wave parting line marketing angle. It even has an exclusive Alignment integrated Marking (AIM) line to help out with your putting. This is all wonderful marketing stuff and no doubt contributes to both cost and profile of features for the pro v1 ball. Great in print but how does that help and what does it mean.

"Stand back little children" AIM is here to fix all of my putting woes. That 30 foot, snaking, undulating putt from the rough on the edge of the green is going to go stright in every time now. Sorry to be a bit sarcastic but come on, is s line on a golf ball going to do that much. Tiger doesnt have one. Ditch that as a must have on your golf ball features.

Dimple design and airflow boundary later control is what you are getting from all of the above hype. The Titleist pro v1 has been through the design mill to produce spectacular inflight characteristics. Dont try and understand it, just use it. 392 dimples, great spin dynamics and trajectory control are yours to have. Provided you use them of course.

In plain terms what does this mean. Basically the ball will go further, perform much better in flight, and give you a much more consistent ball to play with. The dimple design will also impact on the spin the ball will obtain in flight. This has two effects. The gyroscopic effect stabilises the ball and makes any flightpath variation much more unlikely. Try sitting on a bike when it is stationary, and then try it again when moving with the wheels spinning. The other effect you see is the legendary stopping power the pro v1 ball has on the greens due to the spin.

Gyroscopic stabilisation, and inflight inertial control all add to the aura of this golf ball. All a golfer needs to know is that the golf ball will give a consistent inflight results utilising all sorts of fancy science , and when it is done flying , it will stop pretty quickly on a green for you. Sounds like a win all around, and it is in this case. That is why the titleist pro v1 golf ball is so popular.

There's no doubt about it the pro v1 is as good as it gets( that will cause some debat). The titleist pro v1 ball is the most prevalent golf ball on every tour on the planet. Granted, titleist pay the pros to use them so that may be a factor. However the same figures are mirrored amongst the higher skilled amatuer ranks who are using by choice and paying for the privilege. The answer is very self evident and compelling.

Expect longer distances from the titleist pro v1 ball with steeper arrival angles to the green. You get so much packed into this ball, its now up to you to use it. It is worth your while todo some practice with them to get your distances and greenside behaviour down pat before you start for real.

The titleist pro v1 is a sensatinal ball for all golfers and are particular favourites with more accomplisehd golfers. The balls are very durable and in capable hands will last a good few rounds. The pricing reflects quallity.

If cost is a prime motivator for you then you really should size up your game before you buy them. If you are a low marker, then the titleist pro v1 ball is a no brainer. If you have a penchant for simulating wood cutting with your swing then go and but some "Ravi Rocket Rocks" a 2 cents a piece. Youll cut the heck out of them and you wont get your moneys worth. They are very durable, but to a point.

Before you buy it is a good idea to peruse the web for titleist pro v1 ball bargains. 2 sources I use are mygolfbid.com.au and titleistgolfballs.com.au They will deliver to the US. They offer used titleist golf balls, refinished titleist golf balls, and somehow manage to offer prices way below many others.
