The Good

The Bad

Glass screens are fragile and very heavy - a bad combination; screens also reflect light which can degrade the image quality

The Bottom Line

If you own an unfilled wall desiring for the huge TV, the 50 plasma can be a great alternative. Just be conscious of the drawbacks that present with retaining one of these televisions. Charter specialized installers for the mounting sets and be sure to get the set sent to your house by professionals as well.

Review

If you've been won over by the idea of hanging your television on the wall just as you might hang a portrait, then the 50 plasma model might be for you. By plasma, we mean one of the hottest television technologies available. While this idea of having a massive screen mounted to your wall almost like in a movie theater is impressive, the real question is should you make the purchase?

Perceptibly the ability to place the screen on the wall is exciting and is not just promoting hype. In one trade a pair even hangs their television on the ceiling of their bedroom.

Because you can hang the screen, you're going to have more flexibility and can sometimes purchase a larger model than you might have been able to fit in your home otherwise. Plus, you can hide all of the wires and power connections in the wall to give the screen a cleaner appearance.

Be wary about buying only on cost. You would like to take notice to the resolution, as well, because this is will choose the feature of your image. The lowest resolution you'll probably get on these styles is 720p.

There are some down sides when you purchase a 50 plasma, however. For one, the screen is fragile. Because of the technology, the screen is almost entirely made of glass. Glass can easily be broken obviously. The glass screen also makes the sets heavier than you might imagine.

When putting the monitor, you have to get out of several area that will have come with sunlight or extra lighting resource for this reason.
