Help International Justice Mission Fight Oppression And Slavery

Each day there are people around the world who suffer because of drug trafficking, sex trafficking, violent crimes, slavery, and other forms of oppression. Every one of us has the opportunity to help those who are unjustly treated, by partnering with International Justice Mission. Many of those who feel hopeless and afraid, abused and enslaved, oppressed and unjustly treated, become stories of hope for others as they are given back their freedom and their dignity.

The abused and oppressed throughout the world are in urgent need of help. IJM intercedes for those who are not allowed a voice, providing justice and protection.

IJM uses investigators, lawyers, and social workers to intervene in cases of abused individuals. IJM pushes cases through the justice system to see where their rights are being denied, and then works to meet their needs with local authorities.

IJM has four main purposes: Providing immediate relief for abused victims, providing aftercare to help meet the needs of those who have been abused, making sure that the perpetrators are held accountable for their actions, and strengthening communities as well as judicial systems to help prevent future abuse.

IJM provides regular news and updates about their operations via mail, email, and on their website. You can find more information, as well as ways to help at www.ijm.org - the oppressed cry out for justice. There are various ways you can get involved; schools, universities, churches, local events, fundraising, volunteering, etc.

Anything that you are able to do can and will make a difference no matter what. Each of us can do a little bit in order to help fight oppression and slavery around the world.
